Tennis & Pickleball Court Rules

The Village of Hawthorn Woods is proud to have Tennis and Pickleball courts available to the community. Courts are available for social play. Please be courteous and share the court. 

Tennis courts are available at Community Park, Heritage Oaks Park,  Bridlewoods Park, and Highview Park. Pickleball courts are available at Heritage Oaks Park and Bridlewoods Park.

Players must adhere to the following set of rules for outdoor play:

  1. Courts are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. 
  2. Maximum 4 players to a court.
  3. Court play should be limited to a 1 hour maximum.
  4. Village of Hawthorn Woods programs have priority use of courts. Please follow the instructions of authorized instructors. 
  5. Courts are used at your own risk. The Village of Hawthorn Woods is not responsible for injuries or loss of property.
  6. No lessons, drills, trainings, or private instruction are allowed unless previously authorized by the Village of Hawthorn Woods.
  7. Players must bring their own water bottles, towels, and personal items to the courts and remove all items when exiting.
  8. No congregating around the courts, or remaining in viewing areas while waiting for courts to clear. We ask that you please leave the court promptly after playing to allow an opportunity for other tennis and pickleball enthusiasts to play.
