In order to ensure an enjoyable experience for everyone, we ask park visitors to abide by the following rules, regulations and guidelines:
- All parks are smoke-free. Smoking tobacco or electronic cigarettes are not permitted in any Village of Hawthorn Woods parks/properties.
- No alcoholic beverages.
- No glass containers.
- Please help keep our parks clean. Garbage cans and recycling bins are located at every park. Dispose of your waste and litter properly.
- No open fires.
- No motorized vehicles.
- Leashed pets are welcome at any park.
- Horses are not permitted in any park.
Enforcement
The Hawthorn Woods Police Department is responsible for the enforcement of park ordinances. Violators may be issued a ticket. To report a serious violation, please call non-emergency dispatch at (847) 438-2349.
Report Park Damage
Hawthorn Woods takes great pride in all of its parks and open spaces. We patrol our parks regularly but also appreciate notification of any damage or hazard at any park. Please report park damage here. We will follow up with all reports as soon as possible.
