Parks

The Village of Hawthorn Woods owns and maintains 20 park sites that make-up 180.02 total acres. Your parks are available to you year-round. All Hawthorn Woods parks open at sunrise. Memorial Day through Labor Day, parks close at 8:30 p.m. All other times of the year, parks close at sunset. 

The Hawthorn Woods park system provides a variety of amenities including open spaces, playgrounds, sports fields, walking trails, rental shelters, native plants, beautiful landscapes, and much more. Visit one of our parks to get your dose of nature!

Volunteer

Invest your time into your community! We are seeking volunteers to assist us with park beautification projects. Join us on one or both of our upcoming volunteer work days this summer.

Saturday, June 10, 9am-Noon at Community Park
We will be planting trees around the Hawthorn Heritage Museum Trail.
