Pickleball Beginner (Ages 21+)

This class is for those who have never played Pickleball before or those who have very limited experience with the sport. It will focus on Pickleball basics such as forehand and backhand shots, serving, and court positioning. Players will learn scoring and rules of the game through drills and playing time. This class will give players the opportunity to develop the skills needed to play this fun and energetic game. Instructed by 5 Star Sports. (Min/Max: 3/8)

This class is for advancing beginners who have some experience and want to move at a faster pace to improve their basic shots and strategies. Players will participate in challenging drills to improve consistency in forehand and backhand shots, serving, volleying, dinks, and lobs. Through matches played each week, players will take their game to the next level by learning how to play smarter, not harder. Instructed by 5 Star Sports. (Min/Max: 3/8)

Self Defense Classes (Ages 18+)

Learn to defend yourself with confidence in this interactive program which provides practical, effective, and simple self-defense techniques to defend yourself against an attack. Classes are instructed by Officer Mike Rossini of the Hawthorn Woods Police Department and Kera Radke, owner of Lake Zurich Family Martial Arts.
