SNAG – Indoor Beginning Golf

(Ages 5-7)

In this beginner’s golf class, your child will use special SNAG equipment that is easier to handle and allows The SNAG Ball to launch an average of 50 yards. Children will learn the basics of the complete golf swing, putting, and chipping in a safe and stress-free atmosphere. Instructed by Sport R Us.

Youth Tennis (Ages 9-12)   

In this program, your young tennis star will learn the right way to hold their racquet, the proper techniques of striking the ball, the rules along with the positioning of the of the game. Fun is the number one goal, as we will help your child build both love and knowledge for this game. Every player will always stay active and involved. Tennis racquet is needed to participate! This class is offered through our Park Partners program, in coordination with Long Grove Park District. Instructed by 5 Star Sports.

Kids in the Kitchen Workshops

(Ages 5-9)

Let’s cook! Participants will learn the basics of cooking, including how to safely cut, measure, and separate foods, as well as how to clean and sanitize the kitchen. Each class will consist of making one small meal, snack, and sweet treat. Held in the Village Hall Barn. Instructed by Teagan Johnson. (Min/Max: 4/8)

Junior Bakers (Ages 9-12)

Calling all budding bakers! This class is designed for young bakers ages 9-12 years old who have a hunger for baking, and are passionate about expanding their culinary knowledge in our fun, interactive and engaging hands-on classes. Each class will consist of different dessert recipes that can be made individually and working in groups. Instructed by Teagan Johnson. (Min/Max: 4/8)
