The Village of Hawthorn Woods is proud to offer this limited edition four week co-ed instructional baseball/softball for children ages 5 to 7 and 8 to 10 years. With the help of Coach Phil of the Lake County Stars Baseball organization, young athletes will be instructed in skills, etiquette, and rules of America’s pastime sport. The league format will provide positive encouragement and instruction at practices and during game play to improve a player’s individual skills and team strategies. No previous baseball experience is required. Players will build character as we focus on sportsmanship, individual skills, teamwork, and positive attitudes.
