Records Information

     Questions concerning report or ticket information can be obtained during general business hours. Hours of operation are between 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The non-emergency telephone number is (847) 438-9050.
     For copies of traffic accident reports, submit a written request and send it to 2 Lagoon Drive, Hawthorn Woods, IL 60047. Enclose a $5 check made payable to the Village of Hawthorn Woods. Please note date, location and/or incident number along with your return address. You may also obtain a copy during normal business hours should you prefer to stop by at the Police Department.
     To obtain other police reports, a Freedom of Information Act Form must be completed and returned with a $5 check made payable to the Village of Hawthorn Woods. This process normally takes 5 to 7 working days to complete.
     Ordinance Violation Tickets can be processed at the Village Hall during normal business hours or can be sent in with proper payment. Business hours are 8:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
